reincarnation

after 24 years, the world has lived in peace. no global terrorism threat has loomed and every country is growing prosperously thanks to the equality treaty signed by all world leaders after the fall of cobra.
without the threat that is cobra, the united states governement has decided to disband their special unit gi joe once and for all. all active personnel enlisted has been de-activated and placed on regular employment under their government. their foreign personnel were returned to their places of origin to start their new lives, away from battle and war.

somewhere in the tropics, in a jungle location an voice of command is giving instructions. "take this to the armory and send out all troops to the rally point. we shall commence operation: snakeskin immediately."
in a bar, a converstion between prominent political and military figures is taking place. "we really cannot reinstate the troops. there is no real threat that would merit the alliances approval of such action." "then we can create a threat then...." that answer only merited silence from everybody in attendance in that gathering.
back in the jungle the rally for the troops has began. "we are in the forefront of establishing ourselves as a new player in the game of terrorism. but we should not be content with the label our previous leader gave us, that of evil terrorists out for world domination but instead we should establish ourselves as the foremost terrorist faction the world has ever known....we shall let them fear the most ruthless reincarnation of COBRA!" as the figure ended his speech a familiar face looms as its new leader, the mercenary major bludd and all of his range vipers shout "COBRA!" " we shall commence operation: snakeskin as the way to tell the world that we are back and badder as ever.operation: snakeskin in 1530 hours." upon giving his final orders, he steps out of the troops view and proceeds to his tent to contact a very important individual responsible for this reincarnation of the cobra legions anew.
